Jordan – a land of beauty & contrasts

Once captivated ancient travellers, it still continues to enthral a whole new generation as a modern vibrant nation

From the haunting, primeval starkness of Wadi Rum to the vibrant centre of Amman – Jordan has something to offer everyone

Amman – the Capital of Jordan is a city of fascinating contrasts. A unique blend of old & new, ideally situated on a hilly area between the desert and the fertile Jordan Valley

Mount Nebo – Believed to be the place where Moses was buried. When standing at the top of the mountain you can see the vast panorama that encompasses the Jordan River Valley, the Dead Sea, Jericho and Jerusalem

Madaba – This town is one of the most memorable places in the Holy Land

The city of mosaics – extensive archaeological park & museum complex compasses the remains of several Byzantine churches

Petra – Although much has been written about Petra, nothing really prepare you. It really does need to be seen to be believed

Chosen as one of the 7 Wonders of the World, is without a doubt Jordan’s most valuable treasure

A vast unique city, carved into the sheer rock face by the Nabataeans who settled more than 2000 years ago

Wadi Rum – Vast, echoing and God – like these are the words T.E Lawrence used in describing Wadi Rum

The largest and most magnificent of Jordan’s desert landscapes a timeless place

Dead Sea – Without a doubt one of the world’s most amazing places – the Jordan rift valley and drops more than 400m below sea level – the lowest point on earth

Once the waters reach the Dead Sea they are land locked and have nowhere to go, so they evaporate leaving behind a dense rich cocktail of salts & minerals that supply industry, agriculture and medicine with some of its finest products

The East Coast of the Dead Sea has evolved into both religious, as well as the health & wellbeing tourism hub of the region
